 What's New

Updated June 26

During the summer months the SMART organization’s corporate leadership will continue to work towards collaboration with the Congressional Caucus, Federal Executive Branch (DC leaders) and States’ Executive & Legislative Branches. One major action is to expand awareness and active collaboration down to the major city and county levels. Various working meetings are scheduled and have taken place in DC and our State Capitols.

We continue to work on the SMART legislation with the new State Speakers Committee and Caucus co-leaders for the DE, MD & PA ratifying bills (NJ has passed) and federal enabling bills.

Another major activity is expanding our SMART grass-roots tech community membership as we close in on the above legislative stand up of the nation’s first interstate S&T Authority.

On events, we have a busy July schedule and are working towards some August events and a typically busy fall. Monitor our home page “Upcoming Events” for a summary and the “Events” menu tab for full details.

Besides events, we continue to work towards new projects via our Tech Group chairs.

For any details on the above or any SMART topic or S&T issue, please contact Bob Carullo at 609-304-2904.

Please enjoy a safe summer.
